evonne, don't believe everything you read, even here on lactnet (unless jack
says it). our local milk bank gave some breastmilk to be used with liver
transplant patients, to see if drinking some every day would reduce the
rejection of the transplanted livers - what do you think? - of course it
helped. it is hard to imagine why nature would provide breastmilk that could
not be given a baby not born to a lactating woman. doesn't seem to happen in
other species either, right?
