Heather,

I'm sorry about the confusion, but it was my understanding that we had to use initials on Lactnet for the formula companies so as not to invite legal difficulties for Lactnet.

In my post, I was just trying to buttress the argument regarding the pervasiveness of formula industry ad money in pediatric journals. The names of the formula companies didn't really matter, so I guess I could have just as easily left them out.

Julie

By the way, does anyone know I can stop the "=" sign from appearing at the end of each line in my post?

Please don't use initials to describe formulas and other companies!

Lactnet is the only list I know where this is ever done - why do some posters do it ???? : ) I don't get it : )

Remember, this is an international list and we are not all in the USA; these US brand names need figuring out and it's not always easy.

Thanks : )
