I understand how you feel Betsy!  I have often thought that if my  husband 
passes before I do, I would love to be a post-partum duola for two  weeks, just 
helping a momma breastfeed for two weeks after her baby arrives or  maybe I 
would just keep up with my private practice.  I just never tire  helping moms 
and babies.  I don't think that I ever will.  It is a  gift, and it is a 
lifesaving gift for the mom, baby and me.  For me, I know  that there is not a day 
that goes by that I have not helped a new mother.   I find that very comforting.
