        A lot of very useful information has already been shared on this topic.  I would share one more thought.   Our role in this situation may 
not really be to advise her what the outcome will be whether she weans or continues to nurse thereby chosing tandem nursing.  What this mom needs most of all is help to decode her own feelings and conflicts. Our role is mostly to assist the mothers we work with to make the best choice-for them.
