When my grandson was born prematurely, I gave his mother fenugreek and
blessed thistle to start immediately. She produced so much milk she could
have fed the entire nursery! Sebastian (the baby) had no GI or other
problems. She discontinued the herbs once he was home and nursing well.

I know, just anecdotal.
