I have tried looking for evidence of a link between anaemia and recurrent
mastitis previously, and don't think I found any.
I don't have this article in front of me here - but I think it relates to
perception of low milk supply in women with low Hb.
Birth 1995 Jun;22(2):86-92. Anemia and insufficient milk in first-time
mothers.
