Mead Johnsons' announcement makes me SICK!   What a travesty.
YES, the AAP should be shouting  from the rooftops of every shelfter  
- "Lift up your shirt and nurse!"  and then provide lactation  
consultants to help mothers relactate. I am positive there are enough  
of us willing to help.
FEMA and Red Cross  jointly have a pamphlet  about preparing for a  
natural disaster.  It  lists  everything one should have on hand.  It  
does NOT mention breastfeeding at all. SO sad...
How's this for a slogan?    " Breastmilk - the ultimate food storage  
for babies."
