Renata,

I do not know of any studies that link the two, just lots of anecdotal
information about food allergies being the cause of night-waking in small
children.  I also know Dr. Sears (www.askdrsears.com) has that connection in
his books.

For my own contribution, I find the reverse relationship to be true -- I
have a difficult time digesting many foods when I am sleep deprived.  I'm
learning more about it but I understand it has to do with cortisol levels
and such.
