Just a thought: I wonder if any of those condemning this nurse ever
considered that she may be consoling an infant in a manner that is with her
cultural upbringing. I never saw a mention of any psychiatric evaluation,
I thought in cases of suspected sexual abuse, an evaluation was necessary.
For this nurses sake, I hope that someone has thought of that, if for no
other reason, it could have helped to prove her true intent. The only thing
I can imagine, is that there must be more to the story. I did notice that
the "victims parents" were not there for the sentencing. If they had really
felt like the child had been molested, I can't imagine why they would not be
there for that. Of course the article also says that the staff reported it.
In an age where, in the US anyway, sex offenders are released even after
real lewd acts, I am outraged and disgusted that she has received such a
harsh sentencing. I guess she is lucky she didn't change the baby's messy
diaper too...

If she had given the baby a bottle or artificial pacifier, would it have
been equivalent to using a blow-up doll to satisfy her "sexual desires"? ???

Heavy sigh,

Pam Price IBCLC, RLC, LPN
Chas. SC USA
Mother of 3, who has given her milk to another... to satisfy the baby's
need to be fed... and wondering if they will be coming for me soon.
