To everyone who concluded I have dropped off the face of the earth, been
buried in a convenient mud/snowslide, happily left you all to your own
devices, died, or some variant on that theme-I am back and happy (I think)
to reply to most people via this venue. If you saved my previous address
on a mailing list somewhere, please replace that old address with the new
one (see above) as the old one will not be in use much longer (maybe 2
days!)

And, should you prefer that I not talk to you (as you so enjoyed the quiet
from me for the past two months), that is fine. All you need do is ignore
my posts and/or not write to me! :-)

"We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly
disguised as impossible situations."
