re: Kathy Bodden's post about the mother who suffered with
endometriosis/infertility and is now wondering how long she can breastfeed,
I know this is just one case but it may be helpful (or hopeful) for this
mom. A mother with prior endometriosis has been coming to my LLL meetings.
Her daughter just turned 2 years old and this mom has yet to menstruate! As
I'm sure you've guessed, she nurses very frequently day and night, has never
used a babysitter and co-sleeps. She has thoroughly enjoyed this "break"
from the suffering she used to endure. Kathy, if you would like more
details or if these mothers should pen-pal, e-mail me privately and we'll
see what we can arrange.

WarmLLLy,
Deborah Haviland
