Most injury caused by formula-feeding is of indirect nature or it indirectly
causes infant illness/death. Similar to the parent that doesn't place her
child in a car seat then is in a MVA and the infant is hurt or killed.

Another way to look at is--some things are acts of comission vs. an act of
omission. Formula-feeding and failure to use a car seat are acts of omission.
Hope that helps. Chris

My concern is in saying that formula feeding that causes illness. Illness
is caused by microorganisms. Except in contaminated batches of formula, the
microorganisms do not get to the baby in the formula.
