My husband brought it in to me and couldn't wait to have me try it out
(I am 57 yrs old!) Anyways, I stopped cooking dinner and he positioned
it several times, but did not see or feel anything happening. If I
squished it very hard into my breast there was a little nipple
action, which actually hurt a little. Perhaps it would be different
with an actual lactating, firmer breast, but I was not impressed (nor
was my dh who still fondly remembers the lactating years).

Stress from pain or discomfort releases hormones that can inhibit milk flow as well as decrease the breastmilk's natural infection-fighting nutrients-nutrients that are vital to baby's health. Simply put, more comfortable breastmilk expression during lactation can promote good breast health and quality breastmilk for the baby."
