Oh boy, wait until you see this one. Wy*th couldn't keep themselves out of
trouble, now they have a new name brand of formula they are marketing
directly to parents on the internet. I came across the banner ad to the
link by using the word "infant" while searching altavista for "infant
gastric ulcers". They have two new formulas ("BabyMil" and "BabySoy"),
available by the case, to be ordered online and shipped to the home. The
website is a must-see, their slogan is "So Pacifying"! (ugh!) and the
required "breastmilk is best" line is buried pretty deep in a middle page.
It is at http://www.babymil.com/index.html

If you follow their "links" page, you will see another site,
http://www.babyformula.com This one was just as bad. Here they offer the
comforting message: "Coming soon to more of your favorite Supermarkets,
Drug and Discount Stores: store brand infant formulas, available in milk
and soy, sold at budget saving prices at the following trusted retail
chains". (logos shown are Albertsons, Fred Meyer, Kroger, Meijer, Smith's,
Hill Country Fare).
They helpfully tell us that "each store offers it's own name for this milk
and soy based infant formula but the quality formula used in all of these
store brand formulas is exactly the same.. " You can also "Click on a
store logo for nutrition comparisons to mother's milk and the leading
national brands...".
I guess they are also making WalMart's formula, right?
