Has mom ever tried the Lact-aid?  I prefer it to the SNS in most 
situations, and moms are generally able to learn to use it pretty 
readily. If it's a flow situation, this might help. Babies become savvy 
at about 3 mos, and feeding behaviour becomes a lot more volitional.
Baby might have an ear infection that makes lying on her side painful, 
especially if her ear is resting on mom's arm. The pedi will be able to 
check this out.
Poor mommy, this must be hard for her.
