Got a tearful call from a mom today. She has been experiencing urinary
frequency for months, (has to urinate every 30 minutes in the day) Her MD said
just double void, which she does, but has not helped much. She is currently
nursing a22 month old twice a day. She saw her MD today who want to put her on
a medication called oxybutynin (urispas) for relief from these symptoms, but
says he will not prescribe until she weans her child. Told her his information
states breastfeeding is contraindicated for this medication. Does anyone have
information about this medication? Its not in the red book. Thanks
