Dear Dr. Hale,
 Thanks for the info.  Those were my sentiments exactly.  Apparently someone
in her family, a healthy man, has been receiving this rx just to "get
healthier."  I am pretty uninformed about the benefits to an otherwise
healthy, nonpregnant person.  I thought it was just used for lead poisoning,
etc. and certainly not for a bf mom!  I guess it is the newest "preventive
modality on the market."   I spoke to the mother advising to rethink her
decision and she said she won't do it "for a while."   I wil follow-up with
her for sure.
