Someone recently gave a great analogy....promoting these formulas with
extras as promoting immunity is like Coke adding fluoride to their products
and claiming that they are good for dental health.

The formula with the bacteria in it is already out in the US. One of the
reps came to visit to share "the news". It is being promoted as healthier
for the GI tract - the rep did say that it was designed to promote gut flora
that is similar to the breastfed baby's (don't get me started). I, of
course, questioned her appropriately, and I'm still waiting for the research
to back out that claim (!).
Also, they will be adding this new product (forget the name) to all the new
baby "gift bags", so we'll all me seeing the product soon. It comes with a
green label - I already forgot the name.
