    when I lived in the southern part of the united states where yeast was
very preveland and very risistent gentian violet was not an uncommon
solution...it was NOT first choice ...it was ALWAYS done with strict
insruction for dilution.   .25% NOT STRONGER....it stains badly, works
quickly and for the mother/baby who are at wits end it is worth...it is also
very inecpensive...in the states.
