There have been a number of interesting posts recently on the
possibilities of genetically engineered formula additives, and of babies
with gene-related illnesses. I just wanted to share that the journal
Science Magazine (source of that article on gut flora) has an excellent
Web special section that presents links on many different aspects of
genetic research at http://www.sciencemag.org/feature/plus/sfg/.

A lot of the information is very specialized, but the layperson looking
for information on these complex issues might find interesting stuff
under the Headline News and "Ethics and Education" section (where
there's even a place to send a "DNA-O-Gram" for Valentine's Day).
