Interesting idea that we should be hands on!
Many times I tell the mother to hold a non latching baby in position and it 
doesn't matter if he nurses or not. We talk a bit, I ask her questions about 
herself and her birth and the hospital experience and whoops, what do you 
know, the baby is nursing!
