Hi everyone,
As this is the first time that I am posting, I would like to introduce
myself. My name is Susie McCulloch. I am a La Leche League Leader and
IBCLC. I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter and have been married for 11
years. I work in both a hospital setting ( inpatient and outpatient) as
well as at a free standing birth center.
I have been reading Lacnet for several years and find it to be a wonderful
resource.
My question is this: I am trying to find a resource with protocols written
for metfomin usage for moms with PCOS experiencing very low milk production
(i.e. dosage). I have searched the archives and have found tidbits of info,
but nothing comprehensive. Ideally, I would like something referenced that
I can give to a patient's doctor. I am also interested in information on
how to determine which herbal galactogogues would be most appropriate
based on the mother's individual symptoms.
Thank you for your help!!!
