Recently I referred a woman with very sore nipples to a dermatologist.  We
had been working with her all along.  The dermatologist used a steroid cream
which is standard.  Then she had her get vaseline impregnated gauze to place
over her nipples.  The mother loved it, but I know this is not recommended.
This Physician is very open so I spoke to her about it, but wanted some facts
to share.  Has anyone ever used this?  Is there a danger?
