What a comment on an alienated society.....

I mention to groups the idea that the mother-baby relationship is the
prototype for all the relationships one ever has in life. Mothers teach this
in any case, but being aware of its importance means they can use the
opportunity to
consciously mould the kind of relationship she hopes her baby will have
during her/his life.

And in the process of teaching it to her baby, live life more richly
herself, through
this experience.

>Many people find the idea of an intimate relationship with their baby quite
>scary, apparently.

<Why is it so many moms "can't get that close" to their babies?>

<Maybe because their moms didn't get that close to them???>
