I have seen three cases of vasospasm this winter.  This is more than
I've seen in one winter since I was diagnosed with it five years ago.
It could be in part due to the horribly cold winter we've had this
year.  (I'm in Rochester, NY).  The nifedipine does work wonderfully
well.  It is also available in extended release form generidally now,
which means dosing only 1x/day, and it's not expensive, if you have
prescription coverage on your health insurance. I tried evening primrose
oil last winter, and it did not work for me.  Just my 2 cents worth.
