Some of you may recall a recent post about an article in the Express (UK)
telling of a mother and baby who had water poured on them when they
refused to leave (she was nursing the baby). Well, this week I rec'd a
letter from Bona Arts Deco Ltd, Wiltshire UK (the shop). It says the
article in the Express is "wholly fictitious." And that the lady in
question "was found trespassing and obstructing a fire escape which was
being cleaned , pending an inspection the following day..." and
'"repeated requests that she return to the public right of way were met
with abuse." It goes on "neither she nor her child were affected by
water" and none of the Bona Arts employees were asked for comment. And
they are not even sure whether a child was being fed. They are taking
legal advice (libel etc). Some of you, if you wrote, may have got a
similar letter or the same one, as it looks like a letter sent out to
many. I wonder what really happened. Someone said, and it is true, there
are 3 sides to every story - your side, their side, and the truth.
