Hi everyone,

       It has been awhile since I wrote.  Suffice to say that I have been
reading, and not necessarily writing.  I want to thank Jodine Chase for the
article about breastfeeding being comforting (something we all know, but it
doesn't help to have supportive research). There were many great
breastfeeding articles by the BBC, and in the process of lurking through the
website I came across this one.  I think the statement 5% of mothers have
milk insufficiency is an inflated statistic, but there could be mothers who
suffer with a genetic factor.  We have all worked, at one time or another,
with a mother who tries every tactic known to human kind, and no matter what,
cannot develop a milk supply.  Please check out this link from 12/16/02:
