When I delivered at home almost three years ago, my licensed midwife
gave my son oral Vit. K on day 1 and then again a few days later.

When my SIL delivered at a hospital 2 mos. ago, she requested oral Vit.
K and they looked at her like she was crazy. The baby received the
injection.  I don't know if there is a statewide policy.
