I am hopefully going to be forgiven the not advertising rule in order to
answer your question about communicating about poop (volumes and
appearances) to new parents.  Kay Hoover, Nikki Lee, and I have collaborated
on a patient handout that does just this.  We are using four color photos
similar to the ones in the Breastfeeding Atlas.  There is a log on the back
to track diaper output.  It is going to the printer within the next few
weeks, and will be premiered at the ILCA conf.  It will come in pads and can
be provided as a patient handout.  Spanish translation will be available in
Sept.
