Hi Terri, While the client could be pregnant, I am thinking the change in
milk color to clearer is just a sign of breast involution. Do you think the
mother would re-consider a nursing supplementer? I really like using a #5
French feeding tube threaded through a bottle nipple into a bottle, instead
of a manufactured SNS or Lact-Aid. At work we have 2 kinds of tubes, one is
more flexible and the other more rigid. I personally like the more rigid
one, and it is one inch longer which is also a plus. It is fairly easy to
insert into corner of baby's mouth once latched, with no tape needed.
I fear mother will lose her breastfeeding relationship altogether very soon.
