Dear Lactnetters,
I am posting this question for a colleague.  She has been in contact with a mom who has just weaned her 4 yr. old.  She had a mammogram and it showed numerous microcalcifications.  There is one  grouping that the provider is worried about and is talking biopsy's and surgery.  Is this normal after breastfeeding this length of time?  Mom wants more info before consenting to anything. Thanks for any insight you can share.
