When I talk to groups of parents about breastfeeding research, I will often
briefly describe how some of the studies are done - how the comparison
groups were chosen, how many were in each group, how confounding factors
were eliminated (or not) and what the outcomes were. This makes it very
clear that they are not just anecdotal.
