What Barbara has said about managing preterm babies rings true with my
experience. Postponing supplementation often means they can't go home
with mom, which never enhances breastfeeding. I have one question,
however, Barbara. What did you mean by feeding very frequently?

My own experience, including with my own baby who was born at 34 weeks
is that they usually do best on a 3-hour schedule unless they are
awakening and showing hunger cues sooner.
