My baby was very jaundiced due to Rh imcompatibilty. She had very green
stools while her body was breaking down the bilirubin. The Dr.'s said
that was a great sign that her body was getting rid of all of the excess
bili.  Once her bili levels got down to normal, the green stools were
replaced with yellow.  Since the bili is broken down in the bowels, the
more often a mom breastfeeds a jaundiced baby the faster the excess bili
is removed from the baby's system.
