Dear LACTNETers,

As a researcher in this field of human breastfeeding and lactation, I
have become very impressed lately with the experiential knowledge
that the certified lactational consultants have.  And, I have noticed
that they often ask very thoughtful and insightful questions.  My
question is the following.  Has a formal survey ever been done of the
IBCLC members to document and tabulate their specific research
questions?  I think that this might be a gold mine for those of us
with the tools required to conduct research.  It seems like this
could be done either via JHL or a random sampling of the membership.
Does anyone know of such a survey?
