Decreasing milk supply is one of the hallmarks of untreated hypothryoidism.
I have worked with many breastfeeding moms who took Synthroid and had good
milk  supplies. Perhaps your daughter should still be on meds? It poses little or
no  harm to the baby; actually just returns mom to a "euthyroid" state.
