Has anyone ever been able to get donor milk paid for by Medicaid? I have
been asked by one of our Peds to supply a letter for her to submit to
Medicaid here in Michigan. There is a milk bank in Kalamazoo that will
supply the milk.  A patient who is adopting twins (in the next week)
wants to obtain donor milk for them as she "can't" induce lactation.
(Past menopause, MD says "would place her at risk for bone density loss
and other misconceptions).
If you have any ideas, please let me know.
