Dear Kathy,

I read your post about how you were fed in 1967 and thought, "oh my, it
sounds almost exactly like how I was fed in 1946!  Wonder if she had the same
pediatrician.  And THEN I saw you are from the state of WA.  My pediatrician
was from Yakima.... hmm.... He also wrote a book published 1971 called "You
and Your Baby" which advocated these very ideas.  My mother thought he was
"very" advanced.  Linda Smith found the book in a drug store, lets see, I
think it was 1 or 2 years ago, right Linda?  Still being sold!  (Though not
any more, you can be sure Linda took care of that little item!!)  If you
