This reminds me - I just attended a "breast cancer prevention" education
workshop held in our town, by our provincial breast cancer survivors group.
They use a variety of sizes of wooden beads, strung onto a lace, to
demonstrate the size of cancers that can be detected by regular BSE,
mammograms, your doctor, etc.
These could be use for the belly balls, and they would be securely tied onto
the lace.

(btw, the workshop was advertised as being about prevention, and young women
and teenagers were specifically encouraged to attend (they didn't in my
town). No mention of breastfeeding at all. And when the educator showed a
diagram of the breast - she said "and these are the milk ducts - which hold
the milk, since the breast is just like a milk bottle for the baby!"
AAAARGH - no wonder people don't understand how breastfeeding is different
from bottlefeeding! What a lost opportunity to give some REAL information
on what breasts are for, and how to prevent cancer.)
