We use 2% once a day to the baby's mouth and twice a day on the mothers's nipples
We suggest that the mother apply morning and at "dinner time and to the baby's mouth with a Q-tip at bedtime
They use it for 3 days and 4 days is the max
If the baby is less that 6 weeks old the dilute it to 1% and appy once a day
5 drops of GV to 5 drops of distilled water or we give saline
After 15 years we have never had blisters to the mouth - we have never had problems - works great
