Mother of a nursing 2.5 year old has been told by her doctor that
breastfeeding is responsible for her high cholesterol (230), which was first
discovered when she was pregnant. She is being told she should wean so her
cholesterol will come down. Is this valid?? Anyone know any references she
can tell her doctor to check?

Thanks.

P.S. And thanks to all you wonderful LactNuts who have been flooding my
mailbox with cards and scarfs. :)
