Oh my.  I too was very upset by this post and I have just finished a
presentation on Breastfeeding and the older infant/toddler.  I am
reminded of a quote I used from either Mothering Your Nursing Toddler or
How Weaning Happens that states a "need fulfilled goes away".  What
happens in a situation like this when the childs spirit is basically
broken?  I shudder.....
