Just sharing a small study
http://jama.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/full/285/13/1746?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=&fulltext=peanuts&searchid=1&FIRSTINDEX=0&resourcetype=HWCIT
with 23 lactating women, eating 50 grams of peanuts, and expressing
their milk at hourly intervals for analysis. More than half didn't
transfer any detectable peanut proteins (which taps into the recent
discussion of the mother's gut integrity being part of the problem),
while the other mothers' milk did have detectable traces of the peanut
protein, sometimes appearing within two hours of ingestion. For one
mother, it wasn't detected until the six-hour point.
