Researchers never say why some women have more dense breasts. What is it
from? Taking the pill? Never being pregnant? Never breastfeeding?

Cohort of one here but when I had my breast-core biopsy years ago ( benign
fibroademona, not the kind to mutate to cancer, and tumor went away on its own
later) I actually broke the first needle! I joked that my father always said
I was "dense" but I he didn't mean my breasts. I apparently have extremely
dense breasts: menarche not til almost 14, never took oral contraceptives or
used any hormonal child spacing methods, two pregnancies, nursing a total of 7
1/2 years..and boy and I dense, so who knows. My grandmother did get breast
cancer, and so did my mom, both post-menopausal. My mom is now over 10 years
out and going strong, btw.

Just my 2 cents,
Peace,
Judy
