Dear Friends:

Diane W. quoted a mother who had a cesarean section as not feeling this baby
is hers.

I worked with a mother who, 2 months after her dreadful induction/cesarean
section and newborn with a congenital anomaly, lay on my table during CST and
cried and cried and cried. Emotionally, she had not moved past the cesarean
section, even though she had been doing everything she could to breastfeed and
care for her baby.

After 4 CST treatments, she told me that one night she was aware of a new
feeling, that this was "her" baby.

I wonder how many mothers have this feeling after a technologically driven
birth.......and who feels safe enough to admit it?

CST is such a helpful modality for emotional issues.

(For those that are interested, the story of Melissa and Kevin was published
in MIDIRS September 2007.)

warmly,
