One of our Neos is wondering how other NICUs handle or don't officially handle the issue of maternal drug use history and breast milk use / withholding ebm or not /  milk testing. 
Are current drug testing procedures for milk efficient? All milk samples sent for drug testing from our NICU have been negative. But these moms are on pain meds etc. Where are samples sent for testing from your NICUs? 
Of course there are the ethical and potential profiling issues that are associated with this sticky issue too.
