I like this idea!  I have heard of a similar tactic to use in classes,
where you simply put out a platter of home baked cookies and a platter of
cheap, storebought cookies for people to eat during a class break.  No need
to say anything.  When you point out to them later how the plate of
homebaked cookies is (of course) empty and the other plate is full, ask
which quality of food they want their baby to eat.
