Hello,

I am looking for more information on the benign variant of galactosemia 
called duarte.  I am looking mainly for information of children past three 
months and any studies or cases of adults who are on a unrestricted diet.  
My son had a positive screen on the pku.  After the diagnosis of duarte he 
was back to nursing freely and exclusively then had another rise in gal 1 P 
in his blood,  no other symptoms.  We have done no more testing and at 5 
months he is a perfectly healthy breastfeeding baby.
