Pamela and Rob, thanks for continuing this thread, I will, if OK with you,
like to share all your info with my mum of the original recent posting on this
subject.
By the way I sent away to the UK Primary Immunodeficiency Association
Email: [log in to unmask] 12 Caxton Street, London SW1 0QS. Tel 0171 976
7640 Fax 0171 976 7641 and they have sent me a lot of info. Had a brief
skim through and found nothing on benefit of breastfeeding or breastmilk - I
think a little missive is on it way to them from my fingertips!
They have sent me a copy of 'Consensus on diagnosis and management of
primary antibody deficiencies' H M Chapel for the Consensus Panel for the
diagnosis and Managment of Primary Antibody Deficiencies. BMJ, Vol 308, pp
581-585 26 Feb 1994 which was an extract from a fuller document available from
the Royal College of Pathologists.
The International Patient Organisation for Primary Immunodeficiences
(IPOPI) also has offices at the above address, tel and fax as above but EMail
is http://ipopi.org.
Rob, your typing is nearly as bad as most Drs handwriting! No, I stand
to be corrected, most Drs' handwriting is illegible and your typing skill
touches legibility
:-D but I'ff forgive you almost anything because of your exchange of
information.
Pamela, glad to see your mailing, hope that rioting has settled down and
things become easier for all Zimbabweians - know this is not right, but you
know what I mean!
Kindest regards to you both and all lactnetters, Helen M. Woodman, National
Childbirth Trust Breastfeeding Counsellor, UK
