Zuclopenthixol is a neuroleptic drug. There is 2 studies on it.
Half live : 12-29 h
Boud to plasmatic proteins : 98%
For the studies, given to mothers various doses (single dose of 4 to 72 mg,
and 14 to 24 mg/day for 4 days). Level in breast milk was 1,2 to 44 µg/l ;
ratio M/P was 0,12 to 2,2. Baby received max of 11,3 µg/kg/day via breast
milk. No iatrogenic problem.
Conclusion of the authors : zuclopenthixol pass in very small quantity in
breast milk. For chronical use, watch to the baby.
